Ranch Ehrlo Society’s Treatment Foster Care program is excited to announce the development of new services for foster children and parents. We are currently seeking qualified foster parents to join our impassioned team of professionalized foster families.
The successful candidates will assume responsibilities for youth in their care as well as ensure that they are actively involved with their birth family and the community. Caregivers are provided with training, clinical and consultative support, and respite services, including access to a 24-hour on-call system. Foster parents work collaboratively with a number of professionals and participate in the treatment planning and implementation of the child in their care.
The agency will provide competitive professional remuneration through a service contract.
Parental care givers will have:
- Past training/experience and natural abilities to work with children.
- The ability to parent one or two children (preferably two)
- Their own home in the Saskatoon area with one or two spare bedrooms
- A loving and supportive family environment
- One parent must full-time stay at home
The Treatment Foster Care Program helps children and youth, between the ages of five and 15, develop and maintain healthy relationships with their families and plan for reunification.
The primary goal of the program is to provide a supportive and loving family environment in which children and youth can develop to their full potential.
