Our recreation support workers are truly ambassadors within our community!  Our ambassadors will help deliver our Ehrlo Rookie League Baseball program in partnership with the Jays Care foundation, for kids in our city who otherwise may miss out on the opportunity to participate in sport and recreation.  The successful candidates will be working 6 -10 hours per week between July and September 2020.

The role will involve helping kids reach their potential through the power of sport and recreation through practice planning, plan delivery, volunteer recruitment, registration collection, coaching, and general overseeing of the delivery of our league.  It is important for the ambassador to feel comfortable working with various age groups, their families, including at-risk youth, children with differing abilities, and different cultural backgrounds.

This is the ideal role for a student, or someone with a sport background who is looking to give back to the community and gain valuable experience. Sensitivity, passion, and enthusiasm are essential characteristics for this role.

This role will involve working outdoors two evenings weekly and the odd weekend.

A Police Criminal Record, and Vulnerable Sector Check is required.
