Ranch Ehrlo Society has some exciting volunteer opportunities within its Sports Venture Program. Volunteering is always a good opportunity to give back to the society. If you are looking for an opportunity to impact the life of young people, then we have an opportunity for you. We are currently looking for volunteer coaches.

As a coach with the Sport Venture Library Outdoor  Hockey League you will be a part of 26 years of helping participants achieve their full potential through the power of sport. The role of a coach within our programs is so much more than about teaching sports skills and drills, you are a mentor in the lives of kids in the community. Your role will include assessing participants abilities and provide skill development opportunities that meets their social, emotional, physical, and intellectual needs. You will be expected to model and teach the values of Fair Play and ethical behavior always. Motivate athletes through praise and positive recognition and work towards developing the athletes’ self-worth. Encourage the development of like skills in our participants through participation in sport, being part of a team and a member of the community all while being safe and having FUN!

The program will run from January – March 2020. The time commitment is 2 - 4 hours weekly.
