It’s summertime with the Ehrlo Baseball Rookie League (EBRL)!

The season’s kickoff will be on July 8th from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Kiwanis Park. There will be stations set up for youth to practice their skills, and hot dogs and hamburgers will be served!

The season runs from July 10th until August 24th, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.

Registration is now open for EBRL!

Like all Sport Venture’s leagues, the EBRL is a barrier-free program for youth (ages six to 16 with a mini-ball session for ages six and seven) who may not have a chance to participate in paid or affiliated leagues.  The league is geared to serve children who wouldn’t otherwise have access to play the sport.

The practice sessions are run by volunteer coaches and staff ambassadors and focus on building basic foundational skills and enhancing physical literacy.  The EBRL is not a competitive league, but rather, encourages team building, meeting players where they are, and ensuring equal access to play.

The EBRL has practices twice weekly. Participation in the league is a great way to burn off some energy while building skills and making friends!

Sport Venture thanks the Jays Care Foundation, which is the charitable arm of the Toronto Blue Jays Major League Baseball Club, for funding the EBRL.
