Ehrlo Sport Venture is excited to have partnered with Timeraiser YQR!

Timeraiser is a unique event where attendees bid volunteer time instead of money, for a chance to win amazing pieces of art created by local artists. This year, Sport Venture will be one of the organizations people can “bid on” – they will pledge volunteer hours in exchange for a chance to win.

“We’re particularly excited about this event because we’ve had some issues filling our open volunteer slots this year. Without enough volunteers, we can’t run our leagues. Although we try to look at every possible solution before cancelling a season, earlier this year we were had to call off our soccer program due to lack of coaches,” explained Sport Venture manager Amanda McConnell.

She added, “It was disappointing for everyone involved, and we’re hoping that by partnering with Timeraiser we can avoid a repeat of the situation with our upcoming leagues.”

Established in 2003, Timeraiser supports emerging Canadian artists and non-profit organizations by meaningfully connecting art, Canadians, and the causes they care about in a celebration of creativity and community.
