A new season is approaching, bringing with it anticipation for the start of the Monday Night Football (MNF) league.

The MNF league provides a special opportunity for Ehrlo Sport Venture to partner with the Saskatchewan Roughriders, Saskatchewan Roughriders Foundation, and countless other skilled and dedicated volunteers who bring skills development and foster a love for the game.

The league is open to children ages six to 16 and provides barrier-free access to organized sport. Players will learn the foundations of the game, while honing their skills and working as a team.

The league runs from September 7 to October 26 with a Session A at 6 p.m., and Session B at 7 p.m. Players will meet at the mâmawêyatitân centre (weeks one - three) and Mosaic Stadium (weeks four to eight).

Kids who are interested but haven’t played before or are unsure about joining the league, are encouraged to check out the Grow the Game free football camp on August 15 from 6 -8 p.m. at Mosaic Stadium. The one-day camp, hosted by Sport Venture in partnership with the Saskatchewan Roughrider Foundation, is a great introduction to the game and foundational skills.
