Ehrlo Sport Venture will welcome a new manager as Gloria Patrick moves from the day-to-day management of the program into her new role as director of Ehrlo Housing and Ehrlo Sport Venture (ESV).  

The transition follows the retirement of longtime Ranch Ehrlo employee Shelley Sayer.  

Gloria will remain a familiar face at Sport Venture while taking on a more strategic leadership role overseeing both Sport Venture and Ehrlo Housing. 

"I'm looking forward to the transition into this new role as it allows me to continue the good work that we've achieved at Sport Venture, and to explore the ways that we support families by providing affordable housing," said Gloria.  

Gloria brings strong leadership and extensive experience in human and community services to the position, complemented by her certification in Property Management Foundations. She is a familiar face across Ranch Ehrlo, having worked with the Family Programs from 2017 to 2019 before becoming the manager of ESV in 2019. 

During her time with Sport Venture, Gloria has become deeply connected to the families, youth, staff, and community partners who make the program what it is. She has helped grow partnerships and funding opportunities while also making a point of knowing families by name and remembering each young person for their sport, personality, and the things that make them unique. 

Her strong skills in media and community relations, along with her commitment to the people and communities she serves, will continue to be an important part of her work.  

Gloria officially steps into her new role today, September 14. 

A new manager will be appointed soon to take on the day-to-day operations of ESV.  

Ehrlo Housing is a community service operated by Ranch Ehrlo Society, which provides affordable housing to low-income families, individuals with chronic mental health conditions, and young people transitioning from care. Learn more here.
