We are excited to announce our 7th annual powwow, which will take place on August 29, 2024, on Treaty 4 Territory, Pilot Butte campus.
The day will begin with a pipe ceremony at 8:30 a.m., followed by a feast at 10:30 a.m. and the grand entry will begin at 1 p.m. Following that, our family-style carnival and canteen, offering a variety of complimentary snacks, prizes, and games, will kick off at 2 p.m.
We are thrilled to reintroduce our inflatable obstacle course and debut our newly installed playground on campus for all to enjoy.
Our powwow provides a valuable opportunity for individuals of all ages to engage with Indigenous culture firsthand and learn more about Ranch Ehrlo and the work we do. Through this event, we aim to promote cultural awareness and appreciation while creating lasting memories for participants and attendees alike.
Our powwow is open to the community and people of all ages and backgrounds, so feel free to bring your family and friends along.
Once again, our powwow will showcase competitive-style dancing, with cash prizes awarded to the top performers in each age group and dance category. Dancers can register on-site starting at 11 a.m. on August 29th at our Pilot Butte campus.
Thank you to our wonderful community sponsors listed below who have generously contributed to our event. For more details on our 7th annual powwow sponsorship opportunities, please refer to our sponsorship package.
Rain or shine, our powwow will proceed!
Please note that our powwow will proceed regardless of weather conditions. Come prepared for all types of weather, and let's celebrate together, rain or shine!
We look forward to seeing you there.
