Pilot Butte
Founded in 1966 by Dr. Geoff Pawson, Ranch Ehrlo Society’s history is rooted at its main campus at Pilot Butte. Spanning 100 acres, the campus has grown from one group home in 1966 to a small community consisting of six homes (Mitchell , Rorison, Jewison, Rever, Jordan, and Appleton Houses), the McNamara Family Unit, Schaller Education Centre, two emergency receiving units (Rorison and Kenyon Houses), and the Hudson Administration Building.
Other amenities available to youth include an outdoor hockey rink as well as an outdoor sports field where youth can play soccer, baseball, and football. There is a common area in the middle of the campus complete with a barbecue that is used for a variety of Ranch-related social functions throughout the year.
