Anne-Marie Ursan has dedicated her career to community service, leadership, and advocacy. She is the former Executive Director of Thunder Creek Rehabilitation Association, Director of Adult Recovery Services at Five Hills Health Region, an instructor at Saskatchewan Polytechnic, and a community consultant. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology (Honours in Psychology) from the University of Regina and is a resident of Moose Jaw.
With extensive experience in governance and program development, Anne-Marie has served on the boards of several organizations, including the Moose Jaw YM/YWCA, Moose Jaw Transition House, Canadian Mental Health Association Moose Jaw Branch, Saskatchewan Schizophrenia Society, and the former Moose Jaw Separate School Board (now Holy Trinity), where she held roles as Trustee and Chairperson. She currently sits on the Moose Jaw Housing Authority and Square One Community boards.
Passionate about housing security and supportive housing programs for vulnerable populations, she has contributed to numerous initiatives aimed at improving community resources. Throughout her career, she has conducted program reviews of residential services and local mental health and addiction services and has been trained in lean management to enhance service efficiency.
Outside of her professional and volunteer commitments, Anne-Marie enjoys reading, staying active at her local gym, and walking. She has been a long-time member of the Regina Middle Eastern Dance Association, where she continues to take classes and perform with a local dance group. She is married and has two adult children and two incredible grandchildren.
