The Family Centred Addiction Program recently received a generous gift!
Cirque du Soleil will be in Regina during the middle of December, and they have invited 25 Ranch Ehrlo participants to attend the opening night by providing free tickets!
Josée Bergeron, a member of Cirque du Soleil’s community engagement program, said, “As our show Corteo will soon be visiting the Brandt Centre in Regina, we would like to offer your organization tickets to attend the premiere.”
She went on to say Cirque du Soleil distributes tickets to community organizations working with at-risk youth in order for their participants to attend performances.
Patti Petrucka, director of family treatment programs, said, “This is an opportunity that the families would likely not be able to have without the generosity of Cirque du Soleil.”
She explained that this is the first time the family treatment programs have been offered such an opportunity.
She said, “This is a way for (Cirque du Soleil) to partner with communities to offer this beautiful art to all people. It’s quite incredible – the families will be thrilled!”
