A Ranch Ehrlo youth was about to play her last volleyball game at her elementary school and had the opportunity to do so in front of a packed crowd.
Randee Patton, her Ranch Ehrlo teacher wanted her to have lots of support for this momentous occasion.
Randee said, “Knowing this was her last home game, and final game of the season, I emailed (Ranch) staff to ‘pack the gymnasium’ to show our support.”
Randee was pleasantly surprised by the response! Over 30 people showed up to support the youth, including youth from Lee House, caregivers, and past and present educational staff.
“Another teacher at the elementary school later approached me to share that the overwhelming support she observed brought a tear to her eye,” Randee said.
Showing up to support our youth is one of the many ways we at Ranch Ehrlo can continue to work together to achieve our full potential, striving to model our CARE principles to take care of and support one another.
