We are excited to announce that our 9th annual powwow will take place on Treaty 4 Territory at our Pilot Butte campus on August 27, 2026. This year’s event is especially meaningful as it will also be held during the Ranch’s 60th anniversary.

Event line up 

The day begins with male and female pipe ceremonies at 8:30 a.m., followed by a feast at 10:30 a.m. and grand entry at 1 p.m. Competitive dancing and dancer registration begin at 11 a.m. Family carnival activities, inflatables and a complimentary snack canteen will run from 2 to 3:30 p.m. 

Our powwow is open to the public and welcomes everyone to experience and engage with Indigenous culture while learning about the work we do at Ranch Ehrlo Society.  

Rain or shine, we won’t be stopped! Come prepared for all types of weather, we’ll be celebrating no matter what. 

60th anniversary campus tour

As part of our 60th anniversary, we will be offering campus tours and a guided history of the Ranch. Former youth, staff and their families, along with community partners, are encouraged to attend. 

Registration begins at 11:15 a.m., with the tour starting at 11:30 a.m., followed by lunch. Guests are then encouraged to stay and take part in the powwow celebrations.
