Outcomes serve as both a reflection and roadmap
Every year, we collect, analyze, and report outcome data to understand the growth of the children, youth, adults, and families we serve. From admission to discharge, we measure key targets that show how far participants have come, and how effective our programs are in helping people heal.
At Ranch Ehrlo, these numbers don’t sit in a spreadsheet. They move.
They move through the hands of our quality improvement team, a department dedicated to ensuring our programs are meeting, and often exceeding, high standards of care. They move to executive leaders and board members who use the findings to guide decisions, shape services, and plan for the future.
These outcomes are more than numbers; they are evidence of lives being transformed.
This year, and every year, we look at these outcomes with a close eye:
How do we measure up to last year?
What are participants and families saying about our care?
Where are we succeeding, and where can we be better?
We celebrate accomplishments, but we also use the data to pinpoint areas where we need to invest more time, energy, and focus. In this way, the Outcomes Report becomes both a reflection and a roadmap.
As we mark 60 years of service, we reflect on this growth of Ranch Ehrlo and our continued commitment to children, youth, families, and communities.
We invite you to explore the 2025-26 Outcomes report which draws on statistical and anecdotal information gathered throughout the year—from participant surveys, client feedback, interviews, and follow-ups. Together, these pieces give us a fuller picture of our programs and services, highlight strengths, and reveal key areas for improvement.
In this year’s report, we share the numbers and the stories behind them. We celebrate:
- · Ranch Ehrlo opened in 1966, serving six boys. In 2025-26 we served 286 boys and girls in youth group living programs.
- · Over the past four years, an average of 81 per cent of youth reported that Ranch Ehrlo helps them with their problems, demonstrating the lasting impact of our services.
- · Eight-five per cent of parents/ guardians feel the Ranch is a safe place for their child.
- · In this reporting period, 91 per cent of youth attained all or part of their goals.
