The Dr. Geoff Pawson Memorial Golf Classic drew dozens of supporters and raised thousands of dollars again this year for children and youth across Saskatchewan.
Generous sponsors, great golfers, and dedicated volunteers made the 24th annual charity golf tournament a success.
The tournament, held at the Wascana Country Club on May 25th, raised $14,000 for Ehrlo Sport Venture to support their recreational programs and give even more youth access to sport and physical activity.
The funds raised will assist with the operating costs of Sport Venture’s four free sport leagues, the sport equipment lending library, and specialized after-school recreational programs and camps.
Congratulations to the first place tournament team which consisted of Colin Bechard, Rob Pederson, Devon Crawford, and Kent Boehm.
Winner for Closet to the Line was Ross Keith; Closest to the Pin was Dave Smith; and the Putting Green was Greg Fieger.
