The 3-Mile Race is an annual event that began some 47 years ago. While staff and youth walk, jog, and sprint along the course, the race isn’t about reaching the finish line — it’s about every step they take to get there.
The 3-Mile race gives participants the opportunity to compete against one another, but more importantly it gives them the chance to challenge themselves. Through sequential planning, youth practice and prepare for the race weeks in advance.
The race isn’t about finishing first, or even second, it’s about reaching the end and achieving a goal.
