Ranch Ehrlo Society celebrated a year of transformation and great achievement during the Annual General Meeting held on September 23, 2014.

Members of the Ranch Ehrlo board of directors and senate were joined by special guests: Regina Mayor Michael Fougere and senior advisor Patrick Book; Deputy Minister of Social Services Ken Acton; Assistant Deputy Minister, Child and Family Services Tammy Kirkland; Children’s Advocate Bob Pringle and Susanne Hamilton, executive director of South Saskatchewan Community Foundation with Cindy Chamberlin.

President/CEO Andrea Brittin, along with board chair Cyril Kesten, welcomed guests and  reflected upon the evolvement of programs, services, and leadership over 2013-2014.

This past year the leadership team underwent a great transformation. Following the retirement of Dr. Marion MacIver in December 2013, the board of directors appointed Linda Meyer as interim president/CEO. The board of directors finalized their selection of a permanent appointment in June of this year, announcing Andrea Brittin, former Assistant Deputy Minister of Child and Family Services, Ministry of Social Services as the new president/CEO effective Aug. 18, 2014.

“I am excited about joining such a strong team and reputable organization, and I look forward to doing what I can to ensure Ranch Ehrlo stays strong and viable into the future,” Andrea addressed the

“I would like to thank members of the board of directors for their direction and support during this past year, especially to board chair, Cyril Kesten and retiring board members Heather Collins, Ernestine Starr, and Harvey Lammer,” Andrea said in closing. “I would also like to thank the management team along with all the employees for their tremendous commitment and dedication to the young people, families, and communities that we serve.
