City of Regina employees teamed up with the Ranch Ehrlo Society for the United Way's Day of Caring, Regina's largest volunteer event. Forty five city employees converged on Lakeshore  Village apartments and completed a number of painting and landscaping projects at the 48-unit apartment complex in south Regina at Hillsdale Street & 23rd Avenue which provides quality housing for singles, single parent and low income families.

"The work they did in one day would have taken us years to complete. We really appreciate they volunteer efforts," commented Shelley Sayer Assistant Director of Housing.
