Meeting with Director of Education Hayley Maurer at Schaller School

The group started the week at RCMP depot investigating what new officers learn in training. In the middle of the week they went to Punnichy to see the youth cadet

program for aboriginal youth and got to experience a pow wow and taste bannock. The group also toured head quarters and the White Butte detachment.

“They all said they wish they were here longer,” Staff Sergeant Rob added.

During the tour of Schaller School, Mitchell House (the original house on campus), and Jordan House (one of the new houses), many questions were asked and the Hong Kong officers shared similar stories of youth with behavioral issues.

“It was great to share with you how we help youth at Ranch Ehrlo Society,” commented Malcolm. “Thank you for showing interest in the work that we do.”
