As we close the books on 2014, we celebrate the forward movement of the agency. Here are a few of the highlights and headlines from the past year. Ranch Ehrlo Society will continue to build upon its successes and working toward continual improvement as we move into 2015.

The Learning Centre finds a new home, WINGS program expands
The Learning Centre relocated to McDonald Street to optimize client services. The former Learning Centre facility on Hodsman Road was taken over by the ever-expanding Working Towards Independence and Nourishing Growing Skills (WINGS) program.
Ranch Ehrlo named one of Saskatchewan’s Top Employers
Ranch Ehrlo Society was once again chosen as one of Saskatchewan’s Top Employers. It’s a real hats-off to the staff; we couldn’t do it without you!
Schaller College closes its doors
The private vocational school closed its doors in March 2014 due to declining enrollments. The Regina-based college helped prepare students for a career in the field of information technology (IT) since 2006.
Golf Tournament raises over $30,000
The Dr. Geoff Pawson Memorial Golf Classic held on May 26, 2014 was a resounding success, raising over $30,000 for Ehrlo Sport Venture. Funds raised were funneled into Sport Venture programs, which provide access to sport and recreation for inner-city youth in Regina.
Chaz Court officially opens
On June 17th, Ranch Ehrlo, along with the Government of Canada, Province of Saskatchewan and City of Regina, celebrated the official opening of Chaz Court, a housing development for youth in transition. The project broke ground on May 13, 2013, and tenants began moving in on April 1, 2014. The pocket suite apartment building features eight 200 square-foot occupancy suites designed for young singles transition from care to independent living.
Family Treatment Program expands
The Family Treatment Program (FTP) expanded this past summer, giving more families the opportunity to reunite and live together. FTP grew by three families, three rental units, and three staff. A dad’s group (24:7 Dad) was also launched to encourage greater father involvement.
Ranch unveils new website
Ranch Ehrlo launched a new website theme in July. The move to a new layout was made to improve navigation and user experience for those using mobile devices and tablets.
New Chief Executive Officer Andrea Brittin is appointed
The Ranch board of directors announced the appointment of Andrea Brittin as the new president/CEO of Ranch Ehrlo Society. Andrea assumed her role on Aug. 18, 2014.
Reflection Centre honours past champions
Ranch Ehrlo developed an outdoor space to honour past champions and commemorate their contributions to the agency. A green space was designed at the Pilot Butte campus, complete with a pergola, stone walkway, engraved rocks, seating and a commemorative wall to display recognition plaques.
Ranch Ehrlo develops, reopens Chitek Lake camp
The agency received a grant to develop leased property at Chitek Lake for summer camping. A ceremony was held on July 8th to celebrate the grand reopening of the Chitek Lake campground and expansion of the therapeutic camping program.
