“I had so many people doubt me, but they pushed me to succeed because I knew if I didn’t they would be right.”

Michael went on to achieve his goals and live his dreams. He showed all those who doubted him that he could achieve what they never thought he could.

Michael has lived a sober lifestyle for more than 30 years, has achieved a post-secondary education, has travelled the world, and has reached his goal of playing pro-ball at the university level and on an international stage.

“The only person that can stop you from achieving your goals is you,” he told the youth at Ranch Ehrlo. “Live the life you want.”
