New CEO announcedThe Ranch Ehrlo Society Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Andrea Brittin as the new Chief Executive Officer effective August 18, 2014. Andrea’s senior leadership experience as an Assistant Deputy Minister has provided her with a keen understanding of organizational strategy and its implementation. As her vision, Andrea states “that each and every child, youth and family served will reach their full potential - and that Saskatchewan communities are stronger and healthier because of the services provided by Ranch Ehrlo Society. Having spent my career in the area of child welfare I am excited about joining Ranch Ehrlo and this opportunity to be closely connected to the youth and families that we serve.”

Andrea has a Bachelor of Social work from the University of Regina.

The Board is confident that Andrea will carry on the long standing legacy of Dr. Geoff Pawson, the founder of Ranch Ehrlo Society.

Andrea played a key role in the development of the Saskatchewan Child and Family Agenda – a multi-ministry approach to addressing issues facing vulnerable children and their families, including development and implementation of the Child Welfare Transformation component of the agenda. She also provided leadership to policy and legislative development and reform including the legislative review of the Child and Family Services Act and the Adoption Act currently underway.

The Board would like to thank Linda Meyer for her leadership as interim CEO. Linda will continue with RES as VP of Clinical Services and Research.
