Outcome Report shows Ranch Ehrlo making a difference in the lives of people
Reporting on the successes of our residences is a major hallmark of the agency. The Performance Outcome Report 2011-2012 shows a summary of resident experiences and accomplishments at Ranch Ehrlo Society for the period June 1, 2011 to May 31, 2012.
“Through evaluating our outcomes, we measure the effectiveness of the treatment we provide to our youth, determine what’s working, and decide when changes are necessary,” commented David Rivers, senior director of programs south at Ranch Ehrlo.
He added, “Accountability and transparency are important at Ranch Ehrlo Society. We believe in our programs and services and we want our referring agencies, parents, and the community to see our programs make a difference in the lives of people.”
Some of the highlights are:
- 83% of residents were satisfied or strongly satisfied with our services
- 90% of youth attained part or all their goals in 2012
- 79% of residents (177 youth) showed meaningful improvement in their functioning (CAFAS score) in 2012
At six months follow-up:
- 66% of residents are living with family or extended family after leaving the Ranch
- 75% of residents under the age of 16 are attending school after leaving the Ranch
- 74% of residents are not charged with any criminal offences after leaving the Ranch
