You may not see their strides, or hear their stories but the youth at Ranch Ehrlo Society are achieving goals and reaching success every day.
The Performance Outcome Report 2013-2014 demonstrates the commitment that Ranch Ehrlo Society has to youth, adults, families, and communities in Saskatchewan and beyond.
The report provides data about the experiences and accomplishments of Ranch Ehrlo clients for the period of June 1, 2013 to May 31, 2014. The information collected is used to assess youth needs, develop treatment goals, document efforts, analyze trends and report to funders.
Analyzing and reporting our residents’ success at Ranch Ehrlo Society is a major hallmark of the agency, helping to ensure that each program is efficient and effective in its delivery.
"Performance and quality improvement (PQI) systems at the Ranch support a culture of learning and our commitment to quality services,” said David Rivers, senior director of quality improvement at Ranch Ehrlo. “PQI encourages us to analyze outcomes and client feedback so that successes and areas for improvement can be identified and shared among staff and programs."
After spending an average of 18 months with the agency, clients demonstrated great improvements in their lives:
- 96% cent of parents and youth reported positive relationships at six month follow-ups
- 94% avoided youth detention or jail
- 43% of discharged clients are in school while 16% are working full-time
The numbers do not lie. Youth are being healed and helped; parents are learning how to care for their children; persons with developmental disabilities are participating in their communities; and Ranch Ehrlo Society is doing its job.
“I love Ranch Ehrlo because they help you,” one youth reported in the Resident Satisfaction Survey. “They help your life to change.”
The stories that bring each youth to Ranch Ehrlo Society are unique to each individual, but the goal is all the same. We strive to support and encourage youth to discover and achieve their full potential.
