The second annual Youth Activity Fair was a success, bringing together more than 1,000 students and 29 community clubs and organizations in Prince Albert.
Ranch Ehrlo partnered with the Prince Albert Optimist Club, SIGA, Source for Sports, Canadian Tire, Rawico Radio, and the Prince Albert Exhibition Centre to make this year’s event bigger and more boastful than last year's.
The Youth Activity Fair is not a fundraiser for Ranch Ehrlo Society—but rather an effort to get children and youth involved in their community by participating in local after-school activities.
The organizing committee made up of Ranch Ehrlo employees (Kevin Mugford, Ryan DeRaps, Brittany Acorn, Rachelle Lavoie-Stumpf, and Shantelle Petersen) worked diligently in months leading up to the event to ensure representation from a variety of community groups, including some of the city’s more affordable and no-cost opportunities.
In addition to dozens of vendors, live demonstrations, and special guests, youth had the opportunity to win free giveaways including popcorn, water, balls, mini sticks, tennis rackets, PA Raider shirts and necklaces, and two $100 gift cards from Source for Sports.
