Tis’ the season to play futebol!

Ginga Futebol Academy invites you to check out its upcoming Holiday Soccer Camp and spread the good word about this exciting event!



WHAT:  Ginga Futebol Holiday Camp, sponsored by the Children’s Aid Foundation in partnership with Johnny Reid and the Ehrlo Sport Venture programs. There are 40 youth registered from Regina and area, aged 7-18. Coaches of different experiences levels will be helping out. Many of the kids  registered play in the Ehrlo Soccer League. The camp is being provided as a free event to the kids.



WHERE:  Credit Union Event Plex - Indoor Soccer Facility, Regina, SK



WHEN:  December 27, 2011 from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.



WHY:  To celebrate the holiday season by coming together in recreation while providing  youth, regardless of their background, the chance to play soccer and develop some skills that may not otherwise be able to afford a soccer camp.

Ehrlo Sport Venture is a community outreach program that aims to provide inner-city youth and families with control of, and access to, recreation programs by reducing the barriers to participation in sport and physical activity. Sport Venture currently offers four free drop-in sports leagues, hockey, basketball, soccer and football, and lends sport equipment through the Ehrlo Sport Venture Library.

Children’s Aid Foundation is a national organization committed to improving the lives of abused, neglected and at risk children and youth through prevention, enrichment, and education.



Ginga Futebol Academy is a program committed to developing athletes in a positive and competitive environment that promotes learning and growth. It is our aim to provide our athletes with the training and skills they need to excel both on and off the pitch. Ginga Futebol Academy is Regina's only independent soccer academy. It is fully sanctioned by the Saskatchewan Soccer Association, supported by the Regina Soccer Association and is committed to the Canadian Soccer Association's 'Long Term Player Development Strategy.’ Ginga Futebol Academy supports all Club, Provincial and National team efforts.
