Ranch Ehrlo Society has some exciting volunteer opportunities opening up Sport Venture! If you are looking for a chance to impact the lives of young people, then we have a spot for you! Volunteering is direct way for you to give back to your community, positively impact the lives of others and use your leadership skills.

We are currently recruiting volunteer baseball coaches for our summer league. As a coach for the Ehrlo Baseball Rookie League, you will support players reach their full potential using the power of sport. The role of a coach within our program teaches sports skills and drills, but also acts as a positive mentor during the sessions - where focus is placed on developing social skills, cooperation and teamwork. Your role will include assessing participants abilities and provide skill development opportunities that meets their social, emotional, physical, and intellectual needs. You will be expected to model and teach the values of fair play and ethical behaviour always. You will motivate athletes through praise and positive recognition, and work towards developing the athletes’ self-worth, confidence and autonomy. Our coaches focus on our players strengths while offering safe space to play and have fun! The program will run two evenings per week for 8 weeks in July - August 2021 (approximately 4-6 hours weekly).
