We have some little entrepreneurs in our midst!
The students in the school-aged program at W.F. Ready School came up with the idea to create and run a coffee shop. Over two months, the project grew from a small idea to a fully functioning coffee shop for a day.
The would-be entrepreneurs collected old cups and trays, made clay donuts and muffins, and even created their own commercial! They used the make believe goods for practice until their official grand opening, where they invited friends and family to purchase muffins, cookies, hot chocolate, and iced tea, all of which they’d made themselves.
A grand total of $102.70 was raised, which will go toward purchasing a foosball table!
