When EELC staff Faron told our participants of essential workers how her children painted hearts on the windows of their home to share some love during a time of social distancing as part of #heartsofyqr, the children jumped at the chance to do the same at the Centres!

Staff and youth, including EELC W.F. Ready, were wearing orange today in recognition of residential school survivors, to remember those who were lost, and to acknowledge the impact the system has left on Indigenous people. Every Child Matters!
